A captivating cover for every gazette

It is perfectly possible to personalise the cover of the gazette!

1 - You can personalise the  title of your gazette, every month if you'd like!
The Gazette... "for Nana and Granddad", "The Thomson Family", "Summer with the Smiths" and so on... Your account manager can personalise the name on the cover of the gazette until the eve of publication, at 11:59pm Central European Time.

2 – Hoping for each page of the gazette to reveal a new memorable moment?
When adding an image, click on "Display" then disable the "Visible in mosaic" option to prevent your photo from being used as part of the mosaic. This option is enabled for each photo by default.

 Our team's top advice: To avoid duplicates on the front cover, publish at least 14 photos using the "Visible in the mosaic" option.

A gazette that truly represents you

Our experts are here to let you in on a few tips and tricks to make your gazette beautiful all around:

1 - Fill out your profile as extensively as possible with your first name, surname, date of birth, and a profile picture, which will be displayed alongside all your posts.

2 - The "Children" section of your profile allows you to add birthdays for family members who are not using the Famileo account (young children, partners, pets etc.). Birthdays within the next 12 weeks will appear on the back of the gazette.

Team up!

The more, the merrier! Encourage as many family members as possible to contribute to the gazette by sharing photos and messages. You can invite them via email or via message, by clicking on the "Invite participants" button at the top of the family wall or by sharing your family code.

If all your family members are already registered, you can use the family kitty to easily split the subscription costs. Click on "Kitty" to find out more.

Tip 4)
The clock is ticking... Don't be late!

Gazettes are published on Mondays, so you have until Sunday at 11:59pm (CET) to add your messages. We'll even send you an email and a notification 3 days before the deadline, as a gentle reminder! 

Your gazette is automatically formatted on Monday, then printed by Famileo and sent within 3 days.

Placed in a large envelope, the gazette will be delivered through the usual postal service and arrive within 8 working days. The first issue will also include a small note, addressed to the recipient(s), explaining how everything works. How lovely!

Share your daily life as well as important events

Your holidays, going back to school, a sunset, your recipes: post your photos and messages via the app or the website.

Try our cool features for a quick and easy gazette:

1 - You can change the date of your messages in the past to reorder them or construct a better timeline.

2 - Relive a trip or event with the photo montage option. 

3- Duplicate your messages: you can write and publish your messages to several Famileo accounts.

Think big!

Breathtaking sunsets, family celebrations, your pet chasing its tail... Post it all as a full page! Ideal for sharing special moments with loved ones. Unlike half-page posts, the date is not displayed in the gazette.

1 full-page message = 2 half-page messages.

Do you have a particularly big or rather small family? Do you sometimes lack a little inspiration? Your account manager can configure the quota of full pages that works best for your family (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, or unlimited).

  Our team's top advice:
To ensure a consistent, coherent gazette, and to avoid blank spaces, full page photos will not necessarily be posted in order. If you prefer to tell a story over several pages and posts, opt for the half-page option.

Running low on inspiration?

Not quite finished your gazette the day before it goes to print? Here are a few handy tips:

1 - You can switch your half-page photos to full-page at any time from the Family Wall. The account manager can also increase the number of full pages allowed per family member, whenever needed.

2 - Does your loved one enjoy a game? Check out our activities library, perfect for adding sudokus, brain teasers or drawings as full or half pages.
