Whether you've just joined Famileo or need a little reminder, you're in the right place.
Follow our guide and (re)discover 6 tips to make your experience with us even better!

Famileo is all about sharing moment with your loved one through the family gazette,
and receiving news about them from their community home.

Tip 1)
Show your
best side

Make sure to fill out your profile completely, including your first name, last name, date of birth, and most importantly, a profile picture with your biggest smile. This information is essential as it will appear in the gazette, on the cover, and alongside your messages.

Tip 2)
Team up!

The more the merrier.

Invite your loved one's family, friends and connections to join their gazette, share updates, and keep up with their daily life.

Invite them by email or by text message, clicking on the "Invite participants" button, or by sending them your family code (Family code available directly via your loved one's profile).

Tip 3)
The clock is ticking... Don't be late!

Gazettes are sent out on Mondays, and contain all of the messages posted by your family and friends. They are printed and distributed by your loved one's community home.

The deadline for posting messages varies according to each establishment's choice of publication date and frequency. You can find the publication date for your next gazette in the dark blue banner at the top of the family wall.

You will always have until the day before the publication date - Sunday at 10:59pm - to post your messages. Whether your gazette is published every two weeks or every month, you will always receive a reminder notification 3 days beforehand.

Would you like a copy of the newspaper as well? Select the "My gazettes" tab to download a PDF version.

Tip 4)
Share your daily life as well as important events

Memorable moments shared with your loved one over the weekend, a refreshing stroll through a nearby park, a delicious-looking recipe... Post all your favourite photos and messages via the application or the website

The gazette is a great tool for carers, as it helps them to get to know your loved one's entourage and environment. And it can also help them to regularly exercise their memory. All the more reason to fill your gazettes to the brim!

Fabulous features that should help you complete your gazette
1.     Got a story to tell? Change the date of your messages for more consistency with past events, or to ensure they are in the right order;
2.     Retrace the steps of an event or trip thanks to the photo collage option.

Tip 5) Think big!

Here are our recommendations for filling your gazette, even when you're stuck for inspiration:

  1. Post your photos as a full page to add a little oomph when your loved one turns the page! As well as using up more space, full-page posts also allow for an easier reading experience.
    1 full-page message = 2 half-page messages.

The quota for full pages is not unlimited. It is determined by the community home. Get in touch with your usual point of contact at the community home to increase the quota for your family members.
  2. Choose from our collection of content (drawings, wordsearch puzzles, expressions, etc.) to help fill out the gazette with full pages or half-pages:
